![]() ![]() I'm using RetroArena, but it's based on RetroArcade, so roughly the same steps. Is using the CLI to call selph with arguments really the only way to have it login to, and if so, how?įirst things first, exit EmulationStation, or all bets are off. Here's an example of that error:ģ 20:37:27 ERR: error processing /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/atari2600/Racer (1982) (Atari, Joe Gaucher) (Prototype).a26: ss: cannot parse response: "invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value" Secondly I'm getting an error message when comparing the actual hashes with screenscraper (even though when comparing using the gui it works without issue). I haven't gotten far enough to verify, but I assume this will be problematic and emulationstation won't actually refer to these new lists as intended. First it seems to build the gamelist.xml files for each system in the roms directory (example: /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/atari2600) instead of under /opt/retropie/emulationstation/gamelists/atari2600. opt/retropie/supplementary/scraper/scraper -append -console_src ss -scrape_all=true -download_videos=true -ss_user XXXX -ss_password XXXXĪs mentioned, this launches selph scraper, but with the following two problems. Right now I have the following small script setup which executes but doesn't properly scrape (more info on the error after the script): ![]() ![]() Since it doesn't seem to be in the gui, what I'd really like is to setup a shell script in the pi home directory to call selph scraper and have it connect to using my username and password. I don't see an option in the selph menu/gui to add a username or password, so I'm trying to streamline it with a cli script. I'm trying to get selph scraper to login to with my registered username/password to cut down on timeout/connection issues. I think I must be missing something simple here. ![]()
